Expert Babysitter’s Training
Kids Babysitting Classes in Greenfield, Amherst, Boston, Fitchburg, Leominster, Northampton, Pittsfield, Springfield, Worcester, Western and Central Massachusetts.
Tuesday, July 16, 2019,
4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
402 Main Street Greenfield, Massachusetts 01301 .
The Instructor-based, hands-on training is based on the National Safety Council’s Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED (a nationally accredited company, competitor with American Red Cross and American Heart Association, and approved in Massachusetts).
Save Each Life Babysitter’s Certificate is the preferred certification for every Babysitter, Summer Camp Counselor and Sunday School Teacher, in Western and Central Massachusetts, because it offers a hands-on training on baby mannequins.
This Babysitter’s training takes about 3.5 hours in one session, and participants (at least 11 years old) will receive an Expert Babysitter Certificate with no expiration date. The participants will learn the basic of babysitting, safety, handling “you are not my boss” situations, holding, carrying, feeding babies and diaper changing.
They will also learn how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations, child abuse and neglect, how to make places safe for children, and how and where to get help.
Professional Pediatric First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, together with using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is also part of the certification – and so is the help in choking.
The instructor-based, hands-on Expert Babysitter training costs (for a limited time) only $50.00 per person, then it will revert to $75 for one person, (far less than what American Red Cross charges for the Instructor-based training), and includes all training materials (a Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED Workbook, a Supplement, and the link to download the full DVD presented at the training), plus three certificates: an Expert Babysitter Certificate issued by Save Each Life, with no expiration date, a NSC Pediatric First Aid Certificate (valid two years) and a NSC CPR & AED Certificate (valid two years from the date of training). The best value for your teenager!
The full DVD for the Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED can be watched here. The participants (and their parents) are encouraged to watch each video segment before coming to the class (but it’s not mandatory!). Parents are always welcome to stay at the training. Questions? Please call (413) 824-9581.
We can only take 12 participants at each class, and they must be between 11 and 16 years old. Please register now for the next class.
Note: After you pay for your son or daughter, please send an email to [email protected] with their name, so that we can have the certificates already printed at the end of training.
